“I had just quit my old gym and joined Genesis early in 2025. I wanted to become familiar with the equipment as well as work on one of my goals for this year – to do at least one unassisted pull up by my 60th birthday. I decided to go with Leah because she was very fit which gives her immense credibility. She “walks the walk” as they say. I was very impressed and excited with our initial session. She basically did an intake, basic health history, weight and % body fat and evaluated my strength/flexibility limits as well as my personal goals. After that we worked together for 12 weeks. She was always punctual and set up and ready for each session. She put together a full body workout that I could use in between our sessions. She ensured that I was always using correct form and routinely challenged me to increase weight. At the end of the 12 weeks I had lost about 5 lbs and definitely gained muscle mass and definition, which was awesome! I have continued to use the routines she created for me as well as adding additional weight routines. I have been able to steadily increase weight for most of those exercises by 5 to 10 lbs or more. And, I was able to do one pull up unassisted just last week! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Leah to anyone who wants an experienced, confident, professional personal trainer. Whether you are a beginner or a novice like myself, she has the skills and knowledge to get you to that next level of fitness.”

I have been working with Leah since March 2025. Started with four thirty-minute weekly sessions and we are now doing three one-hour sessions per week. During this time, I have lost 45 pounds and all my "numbers" (cholesterol; triglycerides; AC1; etc.) have all reached normative levels. Before Leah, these same numbers were astronomically high. She has counseled me on nutrition and planned each workout session to include upper body, lower body, core and cardio. I feel terrific and that has helped my overall feeling of emotional wellbeing.
